    Cut the 4 wire USB cable towards the desired general length as much as 9 feet using the wire cutting tool.

    Remove 1 inch in the outer insulation on each and every finish to reveal the 4 wires inside Auto diagnostic tools. If there's a metal braided sheath defending the inner wires, fold it back away from the inner wires.
